Step-by-Step Brewing Guide:

Step 1: Grind Coffee
Grind the coffee beans to a medium-coarse consistency, similar to sea salt.
If using pre-ground coffee, ensure it's suitable for stovetop brewing.

Step 2: Add Water
Fill the base of the stovetop espresso maker with filtered water up to the
safety valve. If your espresso maker has a separate water chamber, you
can heat the water separately in a kettle.

Step 3: Insert Coffee
Place the ground coffee into the filter basket, leveling it off without pressing
it down. Use a coffee-to-water ratio of about 1:15 or adjust according to
your taste.

Step 4: Assemble and Heat
Assemble the stovetop espresso maker and place it on the stove over
medium heat. Allow the water to heat, creating pressure that forces the
water through the coffee grounds.

Step 5: Brew
Once you hear a hissing or bubbling sound, the brewing process has
begun. The coffee will start filling the upper chamber. Keep an eye on the
process and be ready to remove it from the heat.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy
When the bubbling sound diminishes, remove the stovetop espresso maker
from the heat. Pour the brewed coffee into your cup and enjoy it as is or
use it as a base for other coffee beverages.

Tips:
1. Control Heat: Adjust the stove heat to ensure a steady and
controlled brewing process. Too high heat may result in bitter coffee.
2. Experiment with Grind Size: Adjust the grind size to control the
extraction. A finer grind can intensify the flavor, but be cautious not to
make it too fine.
3. Preheat: Before brewing, you can preheat the stovetop espresso
maker by running hot water through it, ensuring a consistent brewing
temperature.
4. Clean Regularly: Clean your stovetop espresso maker regularly to
prevent the buildup of coffee oils and residues.
Stovetop brewing with a Moka Pot is a classic and effective way to enjoy
strong and flavorful coffee. Adjust the grind size, coffee-to-water ratio, and
other variables to tailor your brew to your taste preferences.
